As an Associate and Senior Landscape Architect at PLAN E Michael manages a diverse range of projects from inception to completion; however it is his specialist skills and exceptional flair in design and detailed design that are highly valued within the practice and by clients.

Michael joined PLAN E in 2004 after being employed as a Landscape Architect in the private sector since 1997, gaining experience in New Zealand and South Australia before moving to Perth. He has extensive experience in the design of public domain landscapes, community and master planned developments, streetscapes, town centres, parklands, educational landscapes, heritage landscapes and infrastructure. His unique design aesthetic can be seen most recently in his work for BGPA (Kings Park) Place of Reflection, Rio Tinto Naturescape and Fraser’s Restaurant redevelopment

Michael has excellent graphic communication skills, ranging from hand-drawn sketches to 3D computer generated views and clear, concise AutoCAD plans and details.  He utilises these skills effectively to explore, express and resolve unique and innovative design solutions from the broad conceptual level to the detailed level required for construction. His extensive knowledge and understanding of construction methods and materials ensure that his unique designs can be translated into reality.
