John Tuzee

John is a highly experienced and dedicated Landscape Architect who has been a director at PLAN E since 1996, and a practicing Landscape Architect since 1980 in New South Wales, South Africa and Western Australia. As co-director of the practice, he is responsible for leading a specialist team of designers and technicians in the design and development of a diverse range of urban design, landscape planning and landscape architecture projects from inception through to completion.

John’s experience covers both the private and government sectors and includes townscape studies, district and regional parks, recreation planning, resort developments, industrial and residential estates, commercial developments and health and educational facilities. John has developed specialist skills in site evaluation and visual assessment, broad-scale site planning, urban design and landscape design.

His primary tasks include ensuring brief compliance, ensuring time and cost deadlines are met, OH&S compliance, and ensuring all parties work as a coordinated team to alleviate risks associated with multidisciplinary team projects.   Additionally, John is responsible for Landscape Team programming, resourcing and time and cost management, and will act as Superintendents Representative for all Landscape Construction Contracts.

John is committed to design excellence and environmentally sustainable design practices to create high quality solutions for all his projects.
