With 31 years experience since graduation as a qualified Landscape Architect, David is a Director of Plan E and Project Manager and Lead Designer for a diverse range of complex urban design projects. In recognition of his skills, David continues to be awarded nationally and published internationally for his remarkable designs and project ethic, combined with a social and environmental sensibility that enables him to identify the intrinsic qualities of any project, and artfully transform these into outstanding Landscape Architecture.
As Lead Consultant for a diverse range of multidisciplinary teams, including architecture and engineering, David remains highly committed to design excellence through environmentally and socially sustainable design, ensuring the creation of high quality, site and community responsive solutions for all his projects. This dedication can most recently be seen in his work for the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority in Kings Park, namely the Botanic Terraces, State Reception Centre, Rio Tinto Naturescape and Place of Reflection projects.
David’s commitment to socially responsive design has led him to undertake significant community consultation with key stakeholder groups on projects of significance. His consultation work for the Western Australian Governments on the Bali Memorial project and, for the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority and its many key stakeholders best demonstrates his skill in delivering very high quality projects that meet a diverse range of stakeholder expectations.
With management experience gained in the public sector, David’s demonstrates excellent lead consultant project management skills, including project programming and procurement for complex, high profile projects. Combined with a comprehensive knowledge of construction across many disciplines, David has consistently demonstrated his ability to deliver complex, multi-disciplinary projects for major Client throughout Western Australia.
