Media Release – WA’s PLAN E Landscape Architects go National

On the back of recent industry award success and more than 20 years of successfully delivering diverse landscape projects across Western Australia, PLAN E Landscape Architects is expanding in to the Melbourne market.

The new arm of the practice will officially launch in January 2019, with Director Adam Lange at the helm.

Recognising the significant growth in population, land development and construction throughout Melbourne and Victoria, Mr Lange says PLAN E is eager for a new challenge.

“It gives us a really good opportunity to do some fantastic work in a different environment,” said Mr Lange.

Whilst the market might be slowing marginally, we foresee a really solid industry throughout the area for some time to come.

The already positive reception to PLAN E’s move to Melbourne has seen the practice gain support in the land development industry, which will be the initial focus. However, as a practice that prides itself on doing a wide variety of work, there are plans to expand quickly in to other sectors that it regularly works within in Perth.

PLAN E is already commissioned to complete landscape master-planning work on Botanical, Satterley Property Group’s new community in the heart of Mickleham, with more in the pipeline. Part of Melbourne’s growing northern corridor, Botanical consists of over 30 hectares of open space, including a 22-hectare Botanical Park.

“I firmly believe we have the expertise and skill set to take what we do in Perth and really make a mark in the Melbourne market,” Mr Lange said.

We've built a really solid foundation over the past 20-plus years, and I'm enthused about where we are headed as a business, particularly with our commitment to expand in to the Melbourne market and continue to grow.

PLAN E looks forward to quickly establishing the Melbourne office and further enhancing its reputation for delivering exceptional service and lasting landscape spaces, which has cemented the practice as a landscape architect of choice within the Perth market.

“We’re certainly not taking our eye off what we’re doing in the Perth market,” Mr Lange confirmed. “It’s incredibly valuable to us, and we’ll continue to focus on that as well.”
